Höhenprofil
From the center of Schröcken, ride past the tourist office and the church along the municipal road. At a sharp left-hand curve, turn right and follow the wide gravel path uphill to Auenfeld.
From the Auenfeldsattel, head toward Oberlech. When you reach the first houses, follow the paved municipal road downhill until you reach the main road. There, turn right and ride into the center of Lech.
When you reach the village fountain, turn right toward Zug. At the first intersection after you’ve crossed the toll booth, turn right. Continue along the road until you reach the Steinmähderbahn valley station.
From the Steinmähderbahn valley station, continue on to the reservoir. After the reservoir, keep to the right. Continue past the Petersbodenbahn mountain station and the Weibermahdbahn mountain station. Follow the trail further below the Weibermahdbahn, past the Grubenalpe. At the fork in the trail after the Grubenalpe, turn left and follow the ascending trail back to Schröcken.
Note: The tour can also be started from Warth. From there, the route goes through the Wolfegg district along the Alte Salzstraße to the Jägeralp-Express valley station. From there, the trail continues to Salober. To the right of the Salober-Jet valley station, a wide gravel path leads uphill. At the fork in the trail, keep to the right toward Auenfeldsattel.
