The open Werkraumhaus with the glass facade – built by architect Peter Zumthor and local craftspeople – will again host a new exhibition under the heading ‘Hospitality – Welcoming Spaces’. Handwerk+Form is one of the leading platforms for contemporary craftsmanship in the Bregenzerwald. Cuisine in the region focuses on the fresh, regional and sophisticated. Many of the specialities come from the farms or small craft producers. In autumn in particular, the kitchens offer the best natural products – specialities like mushrooms, pumpkins and much more are available at the colourful markets and harvest festivals throughout the region! Every Saturday there is a ‘Dornbirn Autumn’ market on the market square with changing themes – from pumpkin to fruit wine – and a colourful program of events.
