Wanderer unterwegs in den herbstlichen Bergen im Klostertal

The Golden Season

Hiking in the Fall

In the valley, the morning mist is lifting. The air is pleasantly crisp, and the mountains beckon with exceptionally wide and clear views. The forests glow in shades ranging from pale yellow and orange to reddish-brown, while the sky displays its most beautiful blue. The sun’s rays provide warmth. Now, during the autumn months of September and October, the experience of nature while hiking is particularly intense.

We have selected 10 scenic day hikes and short hikes for you, with and without mountain railways, from Lake Constance to the Arlberg. On the homepage (top right), you’ll find up-to-date information on the weather conditions in Vorarlberg.

Let's hit the heights one last time before winter arrives!
