Visiting Vorarlberg safely

Visiting Vorarlberg safely

We have put together the most important measures, information and service hotlines for you here. Information status: January 2024

In public life, masks are not compulsory and a G certificate is not required.
As of 1 May 2023, the FFP2 mask requirement ended in all areas throughout the country/federation, and a mask is no longer required even in hospitals or care institutions.
Likewise, the appointment of COVID 19 officers or the preparation of a COVID 19 prevention concept for larger events is no longer necessary. Operators can, however, continue to provide for regulations in their area, such as the obligation to wear a mask.

Currently there are no corona-related restrictions. There are no testing, verification, registration or quarantine requirements for entry into Austria. (For the return journey, please always observe the entry regulations of your country of origin).

Validity of vaccination certificates in Austria (“green passport”):
The first vaccination series (2 vaccinations or recovery + 1 vaccination) is valid for 180 days. Persons under 18 years of age are excluded. Their double vaccination is valid for 210 days (7 months).
The booster vaccination certificate (3/4 vaccinations or recovery + 2 vaccinations) is valid for 365 days.
