Sport climbing instructors

Climbing courses in the hall or outdoors for beginners and advanced climbers, children’s climbing courses, climbing technique training... Everything associated with sport climbing.

Grasp by grasp and step by step, you climb higher and higher. Taking on the vertical is all about mastering athletic challenges and at the same time rediscovering one’s own limits: indoor climbing is ideal for training in the middle of the city and finding balance on a vertical plane. When sport climbing on rock, bolts are positioned at regular intervals to break any possible falls, therefore giving climbers the freedom to try out difficult moves at great heights in a safe environment. When bouldering – climbing at jump height – a lot of creativity is required for a few of the moves.

Sport climbing instructors give climbing enthusiasts an insight into the sport on various taster or basic climbing courses designed to teach safety and basic climbing techniques necessary for independent climbing, both in the climbing hall and outdoors. But that’s not all, they also impart necessary basic knowledge about safety and equipment for sport climbing. They’ll also share many tips and tricks on climbing technique for more advanced climbers.

According to the Vorarlberg Mountain Guide law, only state-certified sport climbing instructors are authorized to hold commercial sport climbing and bouldering courses (for a fee; in climbing halls, rock climbing parks without alpine dangers and exclusively on single rope lengths).
