Warth | Sunset hike to the Höferspitze

Höhenprofil
Perfect end to the weekend: the sunset hike to the Höferspitze.
The shortest ascent, ideal for a sunset experience, begins at the Hochtannberg Pass. A hiking trail runs over a longer ridge directly on the Schneide to the summit cross of the Höferspitze. The correspondingly exposed hiking trail requires a head for heights and sure-footedness. You will be rewarded, among other things, with the unique view of the rocky Widderstein massif.
The sunset hike to the Höferspitze guarantees views of the mountains to see, marvel and enjoy!

Directions
The ascent to the Höferkamm begins from the parking lot and continues to the summit of the Höferspitze, which at 2,131 m is known as a beautiful panoramic mountain in all directions. The starting point of the medium-difficulty tour is on the Hochtannbergpass opposite the “Hotel Adler” bus stop. There a zigzagging path leads uphill. The ridge climbs quite steeply at first and then is relatively flat until just before the summit, where it goes up again. The mighty Widderstein towers slightly to the right. On the ridge you will encounter lots of alpine flowers and especially the Turk’s cap. After a 1.5-hour ascent and a long summit rest at sunset, you go back the same way to the parking lot on Hochtannbergstraße.
