Parking lot Fire Station Gaschurn (about 200m east is the starting point of the Trantrauas loop trail) - Upper Trantrauas - Rifabecken (climbing garden) - Außenbofa - Rifabecken - Upper Trantrauas - Parking lot Fire Station Gaschurn
One of the longest and most challenging trails in Montafon. Snow reliable and varied with a beautiful valley view. Can be shortened repeatedly.
The loop around Rifabecken is illuminated until 10:00 PM, partially illuminated until 12:30 AM. In Montafon, cross-country ski trails can be used free of charge.

Directions
The large loop starts at the fire station in Gaschurn and leads over Upper Trantrauas and Rifabecken to Außenbofa in Partenen and back again. The loop is very snow reliable.

Just leave your car standing
The Montafonerbahn regional buses operate throughout Montafon. The main lines run hourly from Schruns station.
From Schruns station, you can get to Gaschurn with bus line 650. The exit stop is: “Versettla Bahn“. From the bus stop, you can reach the entrance to the Große Trantrauas Runde in five minutes on foot.
For the return journey
You can get back from Gaschurn to Schruns station with bus line 650.
Arrival by train
From Bludenz station, the Montafonerbahn runs hourly (sometimes every half hour). There are also direct connections from Lindau (D) and Bregenz.
Approach:
Coming from Bludenz, take the Bludenz/Montafon motorway exit and follow the L188 into Montafon to Gaschurn (Versettla Bahn).
