  • Up until the introduction of the community  newspaper in 1919 the “Uusrüafschdei” was used to proclaim court announcements, and later to provide information from the community of Mittelberg. Since a large part of the local population could be addressed directly after the Sunday church services, proclamations were made near the church. One of these announcements deals with avalanches, landslides and flooding.
