Löwen Tavern and Hall
-
In 1806 the postmaster Karl Josef Waibel built the tavern “Zum Löwen”, which also served for a while as a stage coach stop. Beginning in 1827, after several changes of ownership, and after the stables were torn down in 1905, a hall for social functions, planned by Seraphim Pümpel, was added on. 60 years later the Community of Hohenems bought the building for use as a community event center. Since 2010, thanks to a complete renovation, it shines in renewed splendor.
