Governor Adolf Rhomberg House
-
Another noteworthy sight is the Governor Adolf Rhomberg House, built in 1798-99. In 1900 it was given the Jugendstil facade it still has today. Totally renovated in 1987-90, it is privately owned, and both gardens – one of which has been left to grow wild, the other maintained in its original cultivated state – are open to the public. Adolf Rhomberg was Vorarlberg’s governor from 1890 to 1918.
