  • Directions

The route starts at Aktivpark Montafon and follows the Ill cycle path along the towns of Tschagguns, Gantschier to Vandans (Venser Bild chapel) downstream. Over a lightly trafficked road it continues downstream past the sewage treatment plant to Lorüns. In Lorüns the entire residential and town center is crossed. Then it continues downstream along the Ill to Bludenz. The next town is only touched, it is Nüziders. After the sewage treatment plant in Nüziders, you briefly turn your back to the Ill and cycle through forest and field sections towards the town center of Ludesch. Shortly after you reach Thüringen, which is also only touched. The bike path continues through field sections further downstream and then you reach Gais. In Gais you cross the motorway bridge as well as the Ill and reach Nenzing. There it goes slightly uphill along the Ill. A little later you cycle parallel to the motorway back to Nüziders. You cross the motorway bridge and Ill bridge once more. Along the Ill, you cycle back the same way to Schruns.
