A route suitable for beginners and families as it is not too long and not particularly difficult. The path directly through the gorge promises a refreshing via ferrata experience on hot days.

This via ferrata takes you along the Röbibach into an impressive world of water and rock. The narrow gorge crosses the stream bed several times – great on hot summer days! With an average difficulty level of A/B, the via ferrata is suitable for beginners and athletic children; only the last wall section at the exit is a bit steeper. Across the alpine meadows, you reach the inviting snack station at Ronggalpe on the way back.

Approach: From the parking lot of the Gargellen cable cars, follow the mountain stream Suggadin downhill for about 50 meters past Hotel Mateera. Here, cross the main road and follow the forest road uphill, then right over a narrow wooden bridge and along the course of the Röbibach stream to the start of the steel cables.

Descent: The descent leads from the beautifully located Ronggalpe back to the village center of Gargellen on marked hiking trails.

Warning: Do not enter the gorge during thunderstorms or heavy rain! Do not use the route for descent.
