On the Marmot Balance Trail, visitors test their sense of balance—step by step, like a real marmot, along narrow paths. At the “Strong Woodpecker in the Tree,” little explorers learn just how skillfully these forest workers move through the woods. Precision is key at the Marmot Nail Hammer, while concentration and body tension are essential on the Marmot Balance Beam.

Things get especially action-packed on the springy jumping boards, which turn every step into a brief moment of flight. The musical theme continues at the ringing cowbells, where children can create their own alpine concert. Teamwork takes center stage on the marmot seesaw—only by working together can everything stay in balance.

Another highlight is the impressive avalanche barriers, which demonstrate how people in the mountains safely channel the forces of nature and protect communities. At the same time, they offer a special photo spot for keepsake pictures.

The Marmot Adventure Trail is lovingly designed and specifically tailored for children. Adults are asked to closely supervise their children, assist them as needed, and be considerate of the stations so that this nature experience remains safe and unforgettable for all young adventurers.
