Höhenprofil
Leisurely village tour along the Alfenz river and through numerous districts of the vacation resort Wald am Arlberg in the Klostertal valley.
The easy walk starts in the immediate vicinity of the Sonnenkopfbahn valley station. From there, a leisurely walk along the Alfenz river leads out of the valley. On this path you will pass a small pond with a barbecue area, which invites you to take a short break. At a bridge, it is the first possibility to cross the brook, change to the other side of the brook. From there the path leads uphill towards the district “Außerwald”, where the Klostertal Museum is located. From there take the Obere Gasse past the parish church to the district “Oberer Göttschlig”. After the tennis courts there is a small bridge that leads over a ravine. Directly after the bridge, turn right on the road down to the main road (Arlbergstraße) and then a short distance on the footpath, left of the road, back to the starting point.
