Montafon theatre hike “Border Experiences on the Magic Mountain”
-
Höhenprofil
A landscape becomes a stage. History becomes tangible. The Montafon transforms once again into a stage of a special kind: "Border Experiences on the Magic Mountain" is the new production by the ensemble teatro caprile, which has been creating impressive theatre hikes in the high mountains for more than a decade. At around 1,500 meters above sea level, below the Madrisa, 14 stations and 16 scenes await you, linking nature, contemporary history, and the present in a multi-layered way.
Led by experienced hiking guides, you set out on an approximately five-hour hike during which you repeatedly immerse yourself in gripping scenes along the way. Theatre, nature experience, and historical discourse merge into a sensuous-intellectual overall experience. In condensed play scenes – so-called “short cuts” – you experience historical fragments, social tensions, and questions that resonate to our time: What does it mean to cross borders – physically, ideologically, personally?
