Lech | Burgwald Mountainbike Trail Lech
-
Höhenprofil
After taking the Oberlech mountain railway up the mountain, the Petersbodenbahn transports mountain bikers to the start of the “Burgwald Trail.” From there, the trail’s Easy Line begins with long, sweeping curves toward the Kriegerhorn valley station. The route then shifts beneath the Petersbodenbahn track.
Once in Oberlech, the “Burgwald Trail” branches off into the Burgtobel. On pleasant forest trails and gravel paths, the route winds along the Burgtobel toward the village. In addition to banked turns and wooden curves, North Shore elements, drops, and technical challenges make this section of the trail correspondingly more selective.
Highlights definitely include the 50-meter-long Anaconda North Shore element, the Skinny Boardwalk, and the Patrese jump followed by a double road gap! The trail ends right next to the valley station of the Lech-Oberlech mountain railway. There’s also a bike wash station there so you can clean your bike and take it on the train for the next run.
