    Zürs/bus stop (1720 m) – church – on the gently mounting dirt trail to the valley terminal –Trittalpbahn – Trittalpe alp – Monzabon alp (1979 m) – lake Monzabon – Rüfikopf (2362 m). Ride down on the Rüfikopf cable car. Return on the scheduled bus to Zürs.

On the way across lush meadows between Zürs and the Rüfikopf – which double as ski runs in winter – we meet people who are jarring their joints on their way downhill! Up at the Rüfikopf, you are hemmed in by the full splendour of the landmark mountains of the Arlberg, whose distinct shapes leave a visual imprint in the memory: Rüfispitze, Hasenfluh, Omeshorn, Braunarlspitze, Mohnenfluh, Karhorn, Kaltenberg, Valluga. No other ride down on a gondola cable car is as thrilling as the one on the Rüfikopfbahn, which first whisks you across the broad, barren Schafalpe and then over the Flühen and Schwarzwand ridges. From a bird’s-eye view, you zoom in on summertime Lech below.
