From  Älpele Inn, the hiking trail leads to the hut Göppinger and on to the Braunarlspitze via an alpine path. After cooling off in the Butzensee, the trail leads over the Mohnensattel back to Oberlech

The first stage of approx. 1.5 hours to the hut Göppinger leads along a hiking trail through pine and mountain pine slopes and across extensive meadows. We always have our eye on our destination and the mountain range that goes with it. Through the rugged limestone landscape, which is home to many marmots, we reach the plateau of the hut Göppinger. From now on the terrain becomes alpine and stony. The way to the summit of the summit Braunarlspitze is exposed and stony, but we are rewarded with an impressive 360° mountain panorama. Down to the lake Butzensee the landscape changes from alpine to limestone to the meadows at the lake – the Mohnenfluh, at the foot of which the light blue lake Butzensee nestles, always in view. After a small ascent we reach the saddle and look down into the Lechtal valley. The last stage to Auenfeld and towards the end point Oberlech is not very busy and rounds off the varied tour through a rich alpine landscape.

Also the other way round an experience with an end in the Älpele. Don't forget your swimsuit at warm temperatures. Also in the context of a long-distance hike the climbing of the Braunarlspitze can be built in well: The Göppinger Hütte is therefore a good location for tours or a rest on a long-distance hiking trail. Those who still have reserves of strength after the 1st summit can still climb the Mohnenfluhspitze (2,542 m, plus a good 220 m above sea level). Take enough food with you on the tour, because after the Göppingerhütte there are only possibilities to stop for refreshments again in Oberlech. The tour can also be taken from the summit as a crossing with the destination Schröcken.
