E-Bike & Climb Tour – Madrisella Via Ferrata

This Bike & Climb tour combines an e-mountain bike ride up to Alpe Nova with a via ferrata climb up the north face of the Madrisella. After the via ferrata, the return route leads over the Matschuner Joch to Alpe Nova and then back to St. Gallenkirch by bike.

From Silvretta Park Montafon, you’ll ride through Garfrescha and the Novatal valley to Alpe Nova. There, you’ll switch from your bike to the hiking trail and ascend to the Madrisella via ferrata.

This moderately difficult via ferrata requires stamina, a head for heights, and confident climbing skills. After exiting the via ferrata, the tour leads over the summit of Madrisella and the Matschuner Joch back to Alpe Nova. From there, you’ll ride your e-mountain bike back along the same route.

Please note: This tour description covers only the hiking and via ferrata sections starting from Alpe Nova, as well as the return route to Alpe Nova. You should allow an additional 1.5 hours for the e-mountain bike ride from Silvretta Park Montafon to Alpe Nova. You can find details and route information for the biking section of this tour HERE.
