JYSK is an international retail company with affiliated online stores. As a specialist for bedding, mattresses, home textiles, furniture, garden furniture and decoration articles, JYSK stands for competent advice and high quality in Scandinavian design and at reasonable prices. The first store was opened in Denmark in 1979. Today there are over 2,900 JYSK stores with 24,000 employees in 51 countries. The branch network in Austria currently comprises 87 stores, the first of which was opened in 2000 in Vöcklabruck.
