“Die Sonnigen” emphasises holiday fun and family time! In the last few years, we have increasingly concentrated on our offerings for families and children. Our success has proven us right – especially when it comes to exciting children.

Our programme:
Along with our littlest guests, we’ll discover the world both inside and outside. Our programme calls for creative hours with plenty of action and movement together.

Special amenities/programmes for families

Our selection of rooms and apartments is tailored toward the needs of families. As a result, there are various categories for families (also hotel apartments), a kids’ buffet for breakfast and dinner, great themed buffets for adults, wine tasting with our sommelier Angelika, kids’ dinner (on such evenings, parents can enjoy a relaxing fondue dinner). Delicious meals that kids will like are prepared by our kitchen staff and there is much more than just “schnitzel & chips.” Healthy meals for kids are important to us. The kids’ sauna until 4:00 pm is an additional highlight.

In summer: Fantastic adventure programme of at least 25 hours per week for kids from age 3 – bow-and-arrow making in the Höhlenpark, barefoot trail, campfire bread baking and dam building along the river, garden BBQ, daily jogging for adults and kids from age 8, Wirbelix exercise. In addition to the childcare programme, there is also an outdoor and sports programme during holiday times, a nice garden and playground with trampoline and kids’ pool, a cosy terrace and sunbathing lawn, a fantastic sports programme for adults with Pius the hiking guide.

In winter: Childcare at least 25 hours per week for kids from age 3 (small animal feeding, baking in the hotel kitchen, cocktail mixing for kids, and Indian show and award ceremony), 5x weekly fairy-tale evening from 7 to 8 pm, kids’ taxi to the Schoppernau ski school, free kindergarten for guests in Schoppernau, fantastic weekly programme with hiking guide Pius (snowshoe hiking, Nordic walking, lantern hiking, sledging, and so much more). Baby articles, sledging, baby phone, carrier pack and pram are free to use.
