Hotel Katharinenhof

The Hotel Katharinenhof is located in a quiet street, not far from the train station in the city centre of Dornbirn. Thanks to expansion works in mid 2017, guests here now enjoy a renovated main building in addition to 39 all-new rooms.
The high precision of the building’s planning made it possible: Expansion works across three floors, which relied on modular construction methods with timber boxes, was completed in just 3 days.

No wood is visible from the outside because the architects desired a more urban feel. The developers solved this task with an all-encompassing facade made from aluminium panels, which extended from the floor to the flat roof. The first time that one encounters wooden surfaces is in the rooms, which appear straightforward and warm. All rooms are non-smoking, barrier-free and are comfortably equipped with box-spring beds and contemporary technical infrastructure (LOEWE flat-screen TV, satellite connection, free internet access throughout hotel, laptop safe, & free Wi-Fi).
