Hotel Tannahof

The Tannahof, a 150-year-old farmhouse with stable and barn, is located at the foot of the mighty Kanisfluh massif just outside the village centre of Au in the Bregenzerwald. The farm was first converted into a tourist accommodation in the 1970s. In recent years, the Moosbrugger-Jourdain family decided to remodel the building and infrastructure of the inn to meet today’s requirements. In 2016, the Bregenz-based architectural firm Dietrich | Untertrifaller, in collaboration with local craftsmen, restored the building back to an original farmhouse in the spirit of “new tradition” and also added a new wing of bedrooms to the building
Today the small hotel boasts 12 suites, 11 double rooms and 1 apartment, in addition to a pleasantly minimalist wellness area and a spacious lounge. The beautiful old wood-panelled parlours have remained unchanged. Guests appreciate the establishment’s hospitable family atmosphere and the excellent cuisine.
