Deer observation at feeding stations
Deer up close and personal
Deer observation at feeding stations in Lech Zürs am Arlberg is a tranquil, nearly devout spectacle
The deer approach the feed trough slowly. The atmosphere is so quiet that one can nearly hear the falling of snow and so as not to disturb the scene one is even reluctant to breathe. Driven by hunger toward the settled areas near Lech Zürs, these shy animals tread softly towards the feeding station. Like stalking hunters, yet armed with only binoculars, participants observe the animals as they feed. To some it may seem unspectacular, but combined with a winter hike nature fans will be treated to a truly tranquil, nearly devout spectacle.
