    Lovely beginners’ tour from the Rossstelle via the alpine area of the Mellental back to the centre of the village of Mellau.

    Start the tour by taking the Mellau cable car up to Rossstelle. From there, the path initially takes you upwards to the Wildguntenalpe and then downhill to Mellau through the Mellental.

  • Directions

    Take the Mellau cable car up to the mountain station of Rossstelle (1,400 m). Here, the path winds its way up to the Wildguntenalpe (1,610 m), the highest point on the tour. After the Vordersuttisalpe, at the Mösle (1,260 m), the path joins another agricultural path which continues further into the Mellental. First you cycle uphill again as far as the Bleichtenalpe (1,325 m) and then, via the Hauseralpe, cycle downhill to the Lindachalpe (1,140 m). From here, the path follows the long Mellental along the Mellenbach back to Mellau, and continue on to the valley station of the Mellau cable car (690 m).
