Sibratsgfäll | Skitour Feuerstätterkopf
-
Höhenprofil
This beautiful, popular tour follows easy ski slopes with no flat sections.
The trail begins right in front of the Alpenrose Inn, and you follow it for the next two hours up to the summit of the 1,645-meter-high Feuerstätterkopf. Even from here, you have a beautiful view of the Bullerschkopf (1,761 m), seven kilometers away, and the Winterstaude (1,877 m), eight kilometers away. The Gottesackerwände are also already visible, although the Hohe Ifen is still hidden from view at this point. The hike passes through the landslide area—which has since stabilized—ascending northeast toward the Lustenauer Riesalpe and then turning right onto a small, prominent hilltop.
From there, the trail leads to the left, toward a distinct hill, and along the summer trail into a basin at an elevation of about 1,400 m. Now the trail continues up a steeper slope, past an alpine hut, to a secondary summit. From there, the route curves to the left through a patch of forest for the final few meters up to the summit.
