The Panoramaweg lives up to its name. A beautiful circular route starting at the Montafon sun balcony offers you a fantastic view over the valley and surrounding mountains.

A beautiful scenic circular route. At half height the route takes you through very varied terrain. Less demanding but a scenic pleasure round. If you put aside the sporty aspect and fully immerse yourself in your surroundings, you will realize that you do not necessarily need a summit to enjoy a good view. While you move through gentle areas you have a wonderful view into the Rätikon. In the distance towers the mighty Vandanser Steinwand. The Zima, also affectionately called the “Montafon Matterhorn”, is a popular photo motif. You also have much to admire in the immediate vicinity. You move right in the habitat of “real” Montafon locals. Bartholomäberg and Innerberg can look back on a long settlement history and a so-called scattered settlement that still exists today.

The Gasthaus Mühle offers you traditional cuisine and a cozy sun terrace inviting you to linger.

  • Directions

The start of this route for you is the Baroque Church Bartholomäberg. From here you first follow the road uphill. Passing the primary school, after a few meters turn right onto Roferweg. Follow this until the Riederhofweg junction. Shortly before the Riederhofweg ends, turn left onto a forest path. Once you have mastered the short uphill section through the forest, you leave the forest and turn right onto a gravel path. Follow this and eventually reach Tröllerweg, a paved road. You will now be led directly to the Gasthaus Mühle. This inn marks the highest point of your route. From here you move back towards the starting point of your route, the Baroque Church Bartholomäberg. Turn left onto Mühleweg until you reach Innerberg church. On the opposite side of the street are two houses. Leave the street and turn onto the path between the houses. Follow this forest and meadow path until it leads you back to Riederhofweg. The remaining way back to the Baroque Church Bartholomäberg is the same as at the beginning of your route.
