    PLEASE NOTE: Due to rockfall in the ‘Schnepfauer Wald’ area, a section of the Bregenzerwald Cycle Route is currently closed. According to expert reports, it is not safe to use. Cyclists are being diverted via the L 200. Work is underway on a bypass.

    Along the Bregenzerach, the cycle path leads through villages, fields and floodplains. The architecture is impressive, as is the fascinating juxtaposition of old Bregenzerwald houses and contemporary, modern buildings. The section in the Achtal valley follows the former Wälderbahn railway line from Egg to Doren.
