  • Directions

The loop starts at the Kristbergbahn mountain station (running route information board) and leads a short way downhill. The first climb begins via Bergknappenweg up to Kristbergsattel. Once there, continue on the wide path. Shortly after, you pass the Silbertal forest school. On the left side is the small Huglsee with a great view of Montafon’s landmark, the famous Drei Türme (Three Towers). After the forest school, the next climb begins, which goes steeply and in switchbacks uphill. Once at the top, you reach the Ganzaleita area. The Ganzaleita viewpoint is not far from the junction. If you want to include this, continue climbing and you will reach it in about 5-10 minutes. To continue the Fulateia loop, return to the junction. There, turn right (with viewpoint) or otherwise left (without viewpoint) and follow the narrow path down to Fulateia. Views downstream with the surrounding mountain landscape are in sight. Upon reaching the Fulateia area, turn left again. Via Maschleu and Schrinawaldweg, follow the path to the paved road. Via the paved road (Kristbergstraße) you easily continue uphill to the Kristberg panoramic inn. After another 5 minutes you reach the starting point, the Kristbergbahn mountain station.
