  • Directions

The path starts in Hirschegg shortly after the Leitobel Bridge. The starting point of the Burmiweg can be reached from Hirschegg in about 15 minutes via the Mühleweg and the Leitobelweg or via the Dürenbodenstraße and the Leitobelweg. Tip: Be sure to stop by the Hirschegg children’s playground (above the elementary school). The start of the Burmiweg cannot be overlooked, Burmi welcomes all small and large hikers with a large sign. The first play station is just a few meters away. At this point the path leads slightly down to the Breitach. From here the path runs flat along the Breitach. There are now more stations to discover at regular intervals. About halfway you pass a barbecue area and the sulfur spring. Only the last part of the trail leads up steeply for about 10 minutes. If you want to avoid this, you can go the opposite way. To do this, go from the Riezlern/Kanzelwand bus stop to Ferienhof Stefanie. Turn left here into Zwerwaldstraße, after about 5 minutes you will see the Burmiweg entrance/exit on the right-hand side. At the end of the Burmiweg, follow the road towards Hirschegg. After the Leidtobel bridge, turn left at the fork in the road and follow the road to “Ipek oder IKuh”, from there you simply follow the road uphill to the parish church of St. Anna.
