  • Run and perform yet still take in and enjoy the scenery. This is not a contradiction in terms at the Tannberg Run.

    For beginners in trail running we provide a shorter route of about 13.5 kilometres. Following the same route as the Lech High Altitude Half Marathon in the firste kilometres, the track diverges before reaching Bürstegg directy to Oberlech. Are you ready for the experience?

    This running track was the original track of the Tannberglauf running competition until 2018. This is no longer taking place. However, the course is still a highlight for all running enthusiasts.

  • Directions

    Die Strecke führt vom sport.park.lech bis zum Unteren Flühenweg. Von dort geht es auf einer breiten Forststraße in den Ortsteil Stubenbach.

    Der Weg wird schmäler und führt durch den Wald. Über eine schmale Holzbrücke wird der Lech überquert und man gelangt zur Bodenalpe. Nach einem kurzen Stück an der Straße geht es auf Forstwegen aufwärts Richtung Bürstegg und weiter unterhalb des Karbühels zum Auenfeldsattel.

    Danach führt die Strecke auf gemütlichen Auf- und Abstiegen Richtung Oberlech. Von hier geht es nun die restliche Strecke auf Schotter und Asphalt bis zum Zieleinlauf beim sport.park.lech

  • Public transportation:

     By train to Langen am Arlberg station or St. Anton am Arlberg. From there, buses (No. 91 +92) run regularly to Lech Zürs am Arlberg.

     

    Approach:

    From Germany: Take the A96 motorway to Bregenz from there on the A14 motorway to Bludenz, continue on the S16 to the Lech Zürs am Arlberg exit. Follow the B197 up to Alpe Rauz, turn left here onto the B198 through Flexengalerie and over the Flexenpass to Lech Zürs am Arlberg.

     

    From Switzerland: Via the A13 motorway and the Feldkirch, Hohenems or Lustenau border crossing on the A14 motorway to Bludenz. Continue on the S16 until exit Lech Zürs am Arlberg. Follow the B197 up to Alpe Rauz, turn left here onto the B198 through Flexengalerie and over the Flexenpass to Lech Zürs am Arlberg.

     

    From Austria: Via the Inntalautobahn A12 and then via the S16 to the exit St. Anton am Arlberg (Arlberg Pass). Follow the B197 first through St. Anton, then through St. Christoph and over the Arlbergpass to Alpe Rauz. Turn right here onto the B198, drive through Flexengalerie and over the Flexenpass to Lech Zürs am Arlberg.

    You can either park your vehicle directly at your host or park it in the underground garage in Anger. The underground car park is located directly in the centre of town opposite Raiffeisenbank Lech. Opening hours 07:00 – 20:00 o’ clock.
