    After a five-kilometre winter hike and refreshments at the Schattenlagant hut, you can speed back down to the valley on a toboggan!

    This tobogganing tour is started with a beautiful winter hike of about one and a half to two hours to the Schattenlagant Hut. The tour starts in Brand Innertal and leads along the snow-covered Schattenlagant road into the valley to the Schattenlagant hut. The Schattenlagant hut invites you to a cosy stop and warm up before returning to the valley on the toboggan. The toboggan run runs along the ascent path on the snow-covered Schattenlagant road. After numerous curves and an action-packed toboggan run, you will arrive back at the southern end of Brand, in Brand Innertal.

    Take a warming tea and a snack with you for the winter hike. And so that the toboggans don't have to be dragged in, toboggans can be hired from the Schattenlagant hut. Please reserve your toboggan in advance by phone and note the opening hours of the hut.

    Toboggans can be borrowed from the local sports rentals and by telephone at Schattenlagant Hütte.

    Warm clothes and winter shoes with tread sole. Helmet recommended.

  • Directions

    Innertal/end of Brand – winter hike along the prepared road towards the Lünerseebahn – Untere Schattenlagant Alpe – Schattenlagant Hütte – return by toboggan along the same route.
