A leisurely bike route along the Ill. The bike path pleasantly winds through the individual Montafon villages downstream to Bludenz. The return trip follows the same route.

An ideal route for beginners and families, but also for experienced bikers who want to build up their stamina. This route is accessible with any city, trekking, or e-bike. From the Aktivpark Montafon in Schruns-Tschagguns, you follow the bike path along the Ill to Kaltenbrunnen, Hosensee, and Roter Stein. Passing the Venser Bild chapel in Vandans, the path leads through the municipality of Lorüns down to Bludenz continuously. The elevation difference between the starting point Aktivpark Montafon and Bludenz is 119 m. Accordingly, the ride to Bludenz can be described as a true pleasure ride. In Bludenz, there are numerous shopping, dining, and sightseeing opportunities available. The return journey follows the same route back to the starting point Aktivpark. If you want to avoid the ascent between Lorüns and Vandans on the way back, you can also use the Montafon railway for the return transport, which also offers bike transport.

At the Milka Lädele in Bludenz, you can find wonderfully tender chocolate. Also, a stop at the Venser Pilgrimage Chapel with its octagonal bell tower is worthwhile.
