During the hike, fantastic views of the surrounding mountain world open up again and again. From the Davenna peak, the panoramic view is rewarded with the neighboring Klostertal, the Arlberg, and the opposite Rote Wand.

Especially in early autumn, the day hike is particularly beautiful. At times, you can look down into a sea of fog, so that Bludenz and the Walgau area are no longer visible, only the mountain peaks rise from the fog sea. The meadows are colored with autumn tones. Beautiful photos will be created.

  • Directions

The hike starts at the parking lot opposite the Baroque church Bartholomäberg over the Luttweg to Graves. Then you continue to the Valleu chapel, and from here you face the biggest ascent up to Spitzguf. Afterwards, you climb further up to Davenna. Now you have reached the highest point of the route (1,874 m). You return to Spitzguf and continue towards Alplegi. You now hike over magnificent meadows with a moderate descent and can enjoy a great view of the Itonskopf group. On the lower right, you can see the Alpe Latons with its wonderful spot. In the summer months, cows are on the alp, and cheese is produced. When you arrive at Alplegi, it goes somewhat steeper down to the mountain guesthouse Rellseck, where you can take a rest. Now you follow the Lindaweg, an asphalted mountain road, back to your starting point, the Bartholomäberg church.
