    From the summit of the Vordere Hasenfluh you can enjoy a magnificent view in the direction of Albona, down to Lake Zürsersee and over to Rüfikopf. The tour is ideal as an afternoon hike.

    This summit tour to the Vordere Hasenfluh starts from the large parking lot at the end of Zürs in the direction of Stuben. This striking summit is an extremely popular photo motif in winter, with its steep flank towering over the idyllic Zürs. In summer, this mountain is popular with hikers, but if conditions are stable, this tour can also be made in the afternoon or evening. 

    Those who have time should definitely stay at the Zürsersee and soak up the atmosphere. Alternatively, you can combine this summit with a hike from Zürs to Stuben (much longer).

  • Directions

    From the big car park, which is located at the end of the village of Zürs in the direction of the Flexenpass, you take a very nice hiking trail in the direction of Lake Zürsersee. The gentle ascent over lush green meadows is the ideal start. Again and again, one can enjoy the view over Zürs over to Rüfikopf, the Trittkopf is also our constant companion. After a good hour, you reach a striking hilltop before descending to Lake Zürsersee. Here a mark is attached to a clearly visible stone and a direction arrow to the Vordere Hasenfluh. Follow this turn-off to the left, it goes across to the distinctive incision between Vorderer and Hinterer Hasenfluh. Here the markings are sparse and a way is not always to be recognized. Only in the rocks one recognizes the blue-white markings again more frequently and a clearly marked way leads from reaching the rocks in about 45 minutes to the summit of the Vorderer Hasenfluh. This striking summit with its steep rock flank towers over Zürs and is visible from afar. At the top of the summit you can enjoy the view and the farsightedness in peace. Afterwards it goes down the same way into the valley.

    Alternatively, one can also hike to Lake Zurich and then hike down over the Madloch to Zug / Lech. With this tour, one has to reckon with considerably more time.

    Mit der Bahn bis zum Bahnhof Langen am Arlberg oder St. Anton am Arlberg. Von dort fahren Busse (Nr. 91 +92) im regelmäßigen Takt nach Lech Zürs am Arlberg.

    Approach:

    Aus Deutschland: Über die A 96 bis Bregenz von dort auf der A14 bis nach Bludenz, weiter auf der S16 bis zur Ausfahrt Lech Zürs am Arlberg. Der B197 bis zur Alpe Rauz folgen, hier links abbiegen auf die B198. Durch die Flexengalerie und über den Flexenpass gelangen Sie nach Lech Zürs am Arlberg.

    Aus der Schweiz: Über die A13 und den Grenzübergang Feldkirch, Hohenems oder Lustenau auf die A14 bis nach Bludenz. Weiter auf der S16 bis zur Ausfahrt Lech Zürs am Arlberg. Der B197 bis zur Alpe Rauz folgen, hier links abbiegen auf die B198. Durch die Flexengalerie und über den Flexenpass gelangen Sie nach Lech Zürs am Arlberg.

    Aus Österreich: Über die Inntalautobahn A12 und weiter über die S16 bis zur Ausfahrt St. Anton am Arlberg (Arlbergpass). Der B197 zunächst durch St. Anton, dann durch St. Christoph und über den Arlbergpass bis zur Alpe Rauz folgen. Hier rechts biegen auf die B198. Durch die Flexengalerie und über den Flexenpass gelangen Sie nach Lech Zürs am Arlberg.
