  • Directions

The challenging mountain running route starts at the Versettla Bahn valley station. Along Garnerastraße, the path initially ascends gently until the “Fenggatobel” junction. The Fenggatobel is recommended only for experienced runners. You can also bypass the Fenggatobel by following the road to Ganeumaisäß, although this route is somewhat longer. Take the shortcut that goes through the Fenggatobel. Follow the steep and narrow mountain path up to Ganeumaisäß. Continue gently uphill on the gravel road. Then keep right, cross the Garnerabach stream, and follow the wide trail over Lifinarmaisäß to the Versettla Bahn middle station. This path allows you to loosen up a bit or recover from the initial strains. After passing the middle station, the final ascent begins. This climb is mostly in full sunlight but winds through blueberry bushes and partly mossy sections up to Nova Stoba. At Nova Stoba, you have more than earned a rest stop. There you can recover. Return to the valley station by taking the Versettla Bahn. The boarding point is a few meters above Nova Stoba.
