3-day tour with overnight stays at the Heinrich-Hueter and Lindauer huts
From Brand Innertal, the trail leads briefly out of the valley and then branches off into the Sarotla Valley and leads up to the Sarotla Hütte, which lies at the foot of the Zimba. You continue via the Zimbajoch to the Heinrich-Hueter Hütte, your first overnight stop.
On the second day, you descend to the Alpengasthof Rellstal and from there on to the Zaluanda Alpe. Via the Hätaberger Joch and the Latschätz Alpe to the Lindauer Hütte, where the second overnight stop is planned.
The next day, hike over the Öfapass to the Schweizertor, a striking window and border crossing into Prättigau/CH. From here you continue over the Verajoch towards Lünersee. From the Lünersee Alpe then along the lakeside path to the mountain station of the Lünerseebahn. From here, either descend via the Bösen Tritt to the valley station or take the Lünerseebahn to the valley. From the valley station, walk back to Brand Innertal via the Schattenlagantweg or alternatively take bus no. 580.
Duration: approx. 15 hours in total to Lünersee and approx. 17:30 hours to Brand Innertal
Day 1: approx. 6 hours to the Heinrich-Hueter-Hütte
Day 2: approx. 5 hours to the Lindauer Hütte
Day 3: approx. 4 hours to the Lünerseebahn mountain station, via Bösen Tritt to the valley station another 45 minutes, from the valley station to Brand (Innertal) another 1:45 hours
