    After spending the night at the Mannheimer Hütte, the second day takes you across the Brandner Gletscher (glacier, groomed and generally easy to walk on) to the Schesaplana. Descend to the Totalphütte on a well-trodden path (be careful in spring – snow fields!) to the Lünersee and via the Böser Tritt (or with the Lünerseebahn) to the Lünerseebahn valley station. On foot or by bus from the Lünerseebahn valley station back to Brand.

    Variant 1
    Day 2 after the overnight stay at the Oberzalim Hütte:
    approx. 7 hours via the Leibersteig to the Lünerseebahn mountain station, another 45 minutes via the Böser Tritt to the Lünerseebahn valley station, another 2 hours from the Lünerseebahn valley station to Brand (Innertal).

    Variant 2
    Day 2 after the overnight stay at the Mannheimer Hütte:
    approx. 5 hours to the Lünerseebahn mountain station, another 45 minutes via the Böser Tritt to the Lünerseebahn valley station, another 2 hours from the Lünerseebahn valley station to Brand (Innertal).
