  • Directions

The tour starts from Stuben via the “Schattahalb” walking path out of the valley past the picturesque See’le (small pond). Immediately after the next bridge, the path splits and you go left. The first 10 minutes slightly uphill, then it gets a little steeper to Stubner See lake: this moor lake is a natural biotope in the mountain pine forest at approx. 1650 m with a great view of the Erzberg mountain. From there, the rest of the hike is slightly uphill to the Kaltenberg hut. Return via the Albona mountain and the ski run called “Passage” to Stuben am Arlberg. The path can also be walked in the opposite direction.
