Directions
The route starts at the Schafberg Hüsli mountain restaurant in Gargellen. First, there is a short ascent on the wide path towards the mountain station of the Kristallbahn, which operates only in winter. Then we continue downhill to a junction where we take the left path. Initially, the path meanders gently through the landscape and later climbs until we reach St. Antönier Joch. Here we arrive at the border between Austria and Switzerland. After enjoying the view, we descend a little bit on the same path. At the fork, we take the left path and walk through the Täscher area until we reach Alpe Rongg. From Alpe Rongg, it is not far to return to Gargellen.
