Höhenprofil
Day 1: Versettla mountain station - Burg - Versettla - Madrisella - Matschuner Joch - Kuchenberg - Vorderberg - Tübinger Hut (overnight stay)
Day 2: Tübinger Hut - Garneratal - Ganeumaisäß - Versettla valley station
We recommend reserving the overnight spot early.
The most beautiful path into the innermost Garneratal leads over the western ridges, from the Versettla Bahn mountain station with great views across the “green Silvretta” to the Tübinger Hut. The peaks here on the massif’s west side are no longer so high, green high up, with less rugged rock formations. However, the mountain meadows bloom especially beautifully in early summer. The ridge and high-altitude hike to the Tübinger Hut is a full day’s effort. There are no inns along the way. Although you cross the Kuchenberg, coffee and something sweet are only available at the end of the route.

Directions
From the Versettla Bahn mountain station, the hiking trail leads southeast steeply over rock steps up to the Versettla meadow floor. Then continues on the level ridge path and over a final steep climb to the summit cross of Madrisella. After a short descent, you rejoin the hiking trail, which allows bypassing the summit. Now a mountain path with unforgettable views leads to Matschuner Joch. At the junction, we follow the hiking trail to the Tübinger Hut. Although you cross the Kuchenberg, coffee and something sweet are only available at the end of the route. We also pass the Vorderberg and the Mittelbergjoch. From the Mittelbergjoch, we descend and then reach the Tübinger Hut. The next day we descend following the wide path through the Garneratal. We pass by Ganeumaisäß and Gaschurn village is already visible. If you have good surefootedness, the path through the Garneratobel can be chosen. Otherwise, follow the road back to the Versettla Bahn valley station.
