Directions
The pleasant and scenic winter hike starts at the top station of the Kristbergbahn and follows the winter hiking trail along the panorama cross-country ski trail heading downhill. In the Säga area, turn right and follow the pink trail markings downhill. The groomed winter trail leads through light forest sections and past hay barns, and after some time you reach the Stelzer exit point. Over the snow-covered meadow, it goes uphill again back to the starting point.

The regional buses operate throughout the Montafon. The main lines run every half hour from Schruns station.

Arrival by train to Montafon
From Bludenz station the Montafonerbahn runs hourly (partly every half hour). There are also direct connections from Lindau (D) and from Bregenz.

Approach:
Take the A14 to the Bludenz/Montafon exit and continue on Montafonerstraße L188 to Schruns. From Schruns, you reach Silbertal.
