    Standing on the Hochälpelekopf (1,464 m) in the morning is something particularly beautiful. This sunrise hike is recommended for everyone who needs a break between waking up and everyday life.

    The Hochälpelekopf in the morning is a wonderful detour to work. As you walk, you can still see the stars and moon to the west, while the horizon slowly clears to the east. At the top you can enjoy a magnificent sunrise with a view of the First mountain range.

    If you like, you can enjoy a wonderful breakfast on the sun terrace in the Hotel Berghof Fetz and let the morning come to an end.

    Choosing the exact time: So that you don’t arrive too late at the summit, you should choose the exact time of sunrise or sunset.

    Observe the weather: Of course, the weather should be very nice and stable at sunrise or sunset. Safety first!

  • Directions

    The hike starts at the sign on the Losenpasshöhe Bödele, directly at the entrance to the terrace of the Hotel Berghof Fetz. From there, walk along the sidewalk of Bödelestraße for a few meters and then turn right. On a gravel path you move in the direction of Lank via Oberlose – Hochälpele. From the “Meierei” snack station and at the same time Alpe Oberlose, the markings change to white – red – white. Follow the markings to the Hochälpelekopf. The descent also initially leads over the white – red – white markings in the direction of Schwarzenberg. On the Älpele – Alpe the markings change to yellow – white and from now on you can read Bödele on the signs.
