Schwarzenberg | Bödele – Brüggelekopf – Egg – Schwarzenberg

E-bike round trip from Schwarzenberg to the Bödele and through Egg and the Ach reservoir back to the starting point.

An asphalted freight trail leads from Schwarzenberg up to the Klausbergvorsäß alpine settlement. It reaches the Lustenauer Hütte soon after. A much frequented path leads from here to the Bödele and from there along a stretch of the road down towards Schwarzenberg. A freight trail branches off in the forest to the left after the Weißtannevorsäß alpine settlement and carries on over the Oberer Geißkopf to the Lorenapass. There’s a stretch (650 m) on the descent to Kaltenbrunnen where bikes need to be pushed. An asphalt road leads from Kaltenbrunnen down to Egg and along the cycle path to the centre of Andelsbuch. It takes a right here and descends to the Bregenzerach where the final climb up to Schwarzenberg commences.

Shortcut: at the Lorenapass, it’s possible to take the route through Maien directly back to Schwarzenberg (asphalted road; 4.6 km).
