Freizeitpark Mountain Beach - large loop downhill - Außerbach - along the Ill river back uphill - Freizeitpark Mountain Beach
The entrance to this ski track is directly at Freizeitpark Mountain Beach. From here, you can also enter the large Gortipohl loop (classic) or the Außerbach loop (skating). The loop is very visible and runs on a field or around Freizeitpark Mountain Beach. Occasionally, you can hear the rushing of the nearby Ill river.
In Montafon, the cross-country ski tracks can be used free of charge.

Directions
The classical cross-country ski track is very well visible. Via a large loop downhill, you come back to the Freizeitpark Mountain Beach (open only in summer). This is circled before heading downhill again into the large loop. Circular route approx. 1,300 m long, classic, slightly uphill.

Just leave your car parked
The local buses of the Montafonerbahn operate throughout Montafon. The main lines run hourly from Schruns station.
From Schruns station, you reach Gaschurn by bus line 650. The stop is: “Explorer“.
For the return journey
With bus line 650, you can get back from Gaschurn to Schruns station.
Arrival by train
From Bludenz station, the Montafonerbahn runs hourly (partly half-hourly). There are also direct connections from Lindau (D) and from Bregenz.
Approach:
Coming from Bludenz, take the Bludenz/Montafon highway exit and follow the L188 into Montafon to Gaschurn (Explorer Hotel Montafon or Freizeitpark Mountain Beach).
