A hiking experience with interactive stations for young and old!

The stations on the Naturkräftepfad impart knowledge about the elements in the mountains in a playful and sustainable way. Hikers can create summit storms at wind towers and bring stone giants to life with their own muscle power during the one-hour hike. An experience for the whole family, as the trail is stroller-friendly.

At the Kapellrestaurant, you can enjoy delicious delicacies.

  • Directions

After the ascent with the Hochjoch Bahn, you still have the option to take a toilet break at the mountain station or refresh yourself with a snack or drink at the Kapellrestaurant.

Then follow the trail to the left uphill, past the Alpe Vorderkapell, and you will find yourself on the Naturkräftepfad, which features 8 different interactive stations on the topic “the elements in the mountains.” From the penultimate station “Floating Stone” it is only a few minutes to the Surblies viewpoint – these additional elevation meters are definitely worth it.

From now on, the trail gently slopes downhill past the last station, the Floßen, back to the Kapellrestaurant or the Hochjoch Bahn mountain station.
