Klostertal Environmental Hut Route
-
Höhenprofil
A classic bike & hike route in the beautiful Silvretta - great high mountain routes possible
The Silvretta mountain range includes several peaks over 3,000 meters as well as numerous smaller and larger glaciers.
A bike & hike route to the Klostertal Environmental Hut can significantly shorten mountaineering and climbing tours.
Starting from St. Gallenkirch, follow the bike path to Partenen. From there, take the Silvretta High Alpine Road to Silvretta Lake. Then the path leads you along the left shore under the Bieler dam to the Klostertal Environmental Hut. Return the same way to St. Gallenkirch.
Note: Riding along the lake shore is only permitted on the east side up to the entrance of Klostertal. Between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm it should generally be avoided as many hikers are on the path. Pedestrians and hikers always have priority.
Popular routes are: Hike to the Rote Furka (2,688 m) with a very nice view of the Silvretta Glacier Mountain tour to the Tälihorn or Klostertal Spitze Mountain tour Sonntagsspitze Mountain tour Schneeglocke (3,223 m)
