Via ferrata Castle

Höhenprofil
Short and easy via ferrata, also suitable for families. The view of the surrounding peaks is overwhelming.
Despite the short route and moderate difficulty, this via ferrata is a rewarding destination for the whole family. After a short approach, you climb a few altitude meters with a slight incline along the ridge. Fantastic views down and a unique panorama of Madrisella, Heimspitze and Versettlaspitze open up. Due to its almost horizontal line, this via ferrata can be climbed in both directions.
Approach: After the ascent with the Versettla Bahn, you reach the start after about a 30-minute walk on a signposted hiking trail.
Descent: From the exit, a hiking trail leads back to the Versettla Bahn mountain station. Alternatively, you can climb back over the via ferrata and thus reach the mountain station via the approach.
A crossing of the via ferrata is also possible in winter, which is significantly more demanding since parts of the cable protection may then be covered with snow.
