    A short and scenic route to Zamangalpe

    This short and scenic route takes you to Zamangalpe. The path follows the alpine road and is therefore also suitable for strollers. With a magnificent view, you can enjoy the Montafoner Sura Kees on the alp.

    Please note that the Grasjoch Bahn operates only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

    From the Grasjoch Bahn, you always follow the alpine road towards Zamangalpe. The return route follows the same path.

    Regional buses operate throughout Montafon. The main lines run every half hour from Schruns station.

    Arrival by train to Montafon

    From Bludenz station, the Montafonerbahn runs hourly (partly every half hour). There are also direct connections from Lindau (D) and Bregenz.

    Approach:

    Take the A14 to the Bludenz/Montafon exit and then continue on Montafonerstraße L188 to St. Gallenkirch. In St. Gallenkirch, turn right at the first intersection towards Valisera Bahn. Behind the Valisera Bahn, you will find the Grasjoch Bahn.
