The artistically staged theme trail with 13 locations provides unusual insights. At these locations, you will encounter unexpected objects designed by Montafon artist Roland Haas. Directions
With the Golmerbahn you already master the first altitude meters from Latschau to the Grüneck mountain station at 1,890 meters above sea level. You can take your first break at the Berghof Golm. From there it goes briefly uphill. At the fork in the path, follow the trail to the Latschätzalpe. The hike initially goes slightly up and down. The duration is about 1 hour. At the Latschätzalpe you have another opportunity to rest. Here, in addition to butter and mountain cheese, the traditional Montafon “Sura Kees” is produced. In this area, you can observe marmots. From the Sennalpe you walk gently downhill on a wide path. Orient yourself towards Wachters Dieja. Via the Maisäß settlements Wachters Dieja and Plazadels and some great photo stops, you reach the middle station of the Golmerbahn at Matschwitz after about 1.5 hours. You return to Latschau with the Golmerbahn.
